Welcome to Head and Neck Cancer Australia's Impact Report 2024

This year, we celebrated incredible milestones thanks to the unwavering support of our community. Together, we have driven change, raised awareness, and improved outcomes for Australians affected by Head and Neck Cancer. 

In 2024, we:

  • Launched Scarf Stories, sparking nationwide conversations and highlighting the challenges of living with Head and Neck Cancer.

  • Translated vital 3D educational animations into nine languages, improving access to trusted information.

  • Advocated at Parliament House for essential facial prosthetics and optimal oral prehabilitation and rehabilitation care of Head and Neck Cancer survivors, driving action on survivorship issues.

  • Kicked off our national roadshow, raising awareness of HANCA’s free resources and support.

Looking ahead, 2025 will bring exciting developments, including the launch of Australia’s first Head and Neck Cancer Helpline and our inaugural fundraising campaign Challenge 440 and the Three Capes Trek adventure in Tasmania.
