HPV and Throat Cancer Booklet

This booklet was developed as part of a submitted PhD thesis, completed in 2016  by Dr Rachael Dodd. Qualitative interviews with UK health professionals, HPV-OSCC patients and their partners, informed creation of the booklet content alongside evidence-based practice.

Led by Dr Rachael Dodd, the booklet was updated for the Australian setting by interviewing 24 patients and their partners. Ethics was given by Sydney University HREC.

Participants gave feedback on improvements to the booklet in terms of comprehension, design and content. The research team then worked with a graphic designer to address this feedback, resulting in a revised booklet.
