Head and Neck Cancer Gala Dinner

Honouring Dedication, Inspiring Generosity

Join us for an unforgettable evening of sophistication and generosity at the Inaugural Head and Neck Cancer Gala Dinner. This elegant event will take place at 6:30pm, Saturday, 1 November 2025, at Strangers' Dining Room, NSW Parliament House.

Supporting the Fight Against Head and Neck Cancer

Co-hosted by Head and Neck Cancer Australia (HANCA) and the Australian and New Zealand Head & Neck Cancer Society (ANZHNCS), this gala aims to raise crucial funds for patient support, research, and advocacy. Every contribution helps provide vital resources, fund critical research, and ensure no one faces this journey alone.

Celebrating the legacy of Nicholas Harding

We are honoured to feature a powerful artwork by the late Nicholas Harding (1956–2022), one of Australia’s most celebrated artists. A winner of both the Archibald and Wynne Prizes, Harding was renowned for his expressive landscapes and portraits.

In 2017, Harding was diagnosed with Head and Neck Cancer. Throughout his treatment at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, he documented his journey through sketches. His piece, Treatment, Day 49 (sorbolene soak), captures a deeply personal moment—his final day of radiation therapy. Thanks to the generosity of his son, Sam, one of Harding’s artworks will be donated in support of the event, helping to raise vital funds.
